Last summer, Zoe and Peter joined us in the picturesque Cotswolds village of Bibury for an evening portrait session during golden hour. Known for its idyllic charm and historic cottages, this beautiful village provided the perfect backdrop for their Bibury couple portraits.
As part of their pre-wedding consultation, this session offered Zoe and Peter the opportunity to meet our lead photographer Tom over a relaxed coffee before stepping in front of the camera for a short portrait session. These consultations are a key part of our full-day and destination wedding offerings, designed to help couples feel comfortable and confident ahead of their wedding day.
Shot on a blend of 35mm, 120mm, and digital formats, the portraits captured the natural beauty of Bibury’s surroundings alongside the couple’s effortless connection. The dreamy golden hour light helped to create images that feel both understated and evocative. It’s key to strategically plan our portrait sessions and pre-wedding consultations; many of our favourite Cotswold photo spots are also popular with tourists so planning an early morning or evening shoot – and making the most of the beautiful light that time of the provides – is key.
