After an intimate ceremony at Bristol Registry Office, Beth and Jamie took a moment away from the celebrations to explore the city with us, capturing a series of couple portraits that felt relaxed, natural, and uniquely Bristol.
We began at College Green, with the grandeur of Bristol Cathedral providing a striking backdrop. The historic architecture contrasted beautifully with the easygoing energy of the couple, setting the tone for the rest of the session. From there, we made our way to Bristol Library—a quiet, tucked-away spot that offered soft light, elegant staircases, and an unexpected dose of character for their couple portraits.
As we moved towards Clifton, the weather turned, but the rain only added to the atmosphere. The city’s wet streets, softened by the drizzle, gave a cinematic feel to the images, capturing Beth and Jamie as they walked through the neighbourhood. Moments like these—the unplanned, unscripted ones—often make for the most memorable photographs.
The day ended at Beth’s parents’ home, where family and friends welcomed the couple back into the warmth of the celebration. A fitting close to a day that felt both personal and full of movement—just as a wedding day should.
