Amelia and David’s marquee wedding was the perfect blend of elegance and countryside charm. Set at David’s parents’ home near Barnstaple, the venue was nothing short of spectacular—beautifully landscaped gardens, a winding stream, and rose-lined walkways created an idyllic setting for a summer wedding.
The morning began at the house, where David and his groomsmen started the day with a morning run—a moment of calm before the celebrations began. Meanwhile, Amelia got ready at Kentisbury Grange, surrounded by family and bridesmaids. The atmosphere was relaxed yet full of anticipation as she stepped into her Emma Victoria Payne gown, with time to spare for a few quiet portraits before heading to the ceremony.
The couple exchanged vows in a historic church nestled in the Devon hills, where guests gathered to witness a heartfelt and emotional service. Afterward, we stole a moment away for portraits on a nearby hilltop, the sweeping countryside views making for the perfect backdrop.
The reception unfolded by the water, where guests sipped prosecco and enjoyed live acoustic music before making their way into the gardens for drinks and garden games. As the sun began to dip, Amelia and David were welcomed into their marquee wedding reception with cheers and waving napkins, setting the tone for an evening of great food, emotional speeches, and a packed dance floor.
As night fell, the energy only grew. A lively ceilidh brought guests together in a blur of movement, spinning and weaving through the dance floor in true celebratory spirit. It was the perfect way to end a day that felt effortless, full of joy, and completely true to Amelia and David.
