“Tom is absolutely fantastic! We could not recommend him highly enough. He made us feel so at ease and took stunning, unforgettable engagement and wedding photos that we will cherish forever. It is no wonder he is highly sought after.”
Bertie and Lara’s wedding was a perfect blend of elegance, personality, and a few unexpected twists. Their ceremony took place at Chelsea Old Church, an intimate and meaningful location where Bertie’s godfather officiated. Set along the River Thames, it provided a beautifully classic start to the day—but the real adventure was just beginning.
As guests boarded a traditional red double-decker bus for the journey to The Hurlingham Club, Bertie and Lara took a different route—hopping aboard a Union Jack-adorned speedboat for a ride down the Thames. It was a bold and exciting way to kick off their celebrations, setting the tone for a truly unforgettable reception.
At The Hurlingham Club, the couple took a quiet moment to wander the club’s immaculate grounds, capturing some relaxed portraits before joining their guests. Breaking with tradition, they opted to cut the cake and hold speeches before dinner, leading straight into one of the most memorable moments of the day: a cricket bat-inspired confetti tunnel that seemed to stretch on forever, filled with laughter and celebration.
As golden hour set in, we stole away for a few more portraits, making the most of the breathtaking surroundings. Then, with the sun dipping low, the evening unfolded into a feast, heartfelt moments, and a packed dance floor.
Bertie and Lara’s wedding at The Hurlingham Club was a masterclass in making a day entirely your own. If you’re planning your wedding at this iconic venue and want a documentary approach that captures every moment as it happens, get in touch—we’d love to hear your plans.
