‘Tom was an absolute star and we couldn’t have imagined a better photographer for our wedding day! Tom’s passion and skill really shines through; he documented our day in such beautiful detail, and managed to perfectly capture the emotions in each moment. He made us feel completely at ease on what can be a high-pressured day. We were totally blown away by the images and will treasure them for years to come. As well as being a highly talented photographer, Tom was just a pleasure to have around on the day and so easy to get along with. We couldn’t recommend the Falkenburgs more highly!’

A relaxed start to the day

Caoimhe and Andy’s day kicked off in the picturesque Cotswolds at Old Gore by Yard Space, a wedding venue that blends beauty with functionality, offering endless photographic opportunities.

The morning began in a relaxed atmosphere as Caoimhe and her bridesmaids prepared in a charming barn conversion in Poulton, not far from the venue, with the calm ambiance set by music, prosecco and professional hair and make up by Alice Taper.

The ceremony

The ceremony took place in a quintessential Cotswold stone barn at Old Gore by Yard Space, adorned with elegant floral arrangements and a cosy fireplace setting the scene. The couple’s personal vows were a heartfelt highlight.

Celebratory moments

Post ceremony, the celebration moved outside where guests were greeted with confetti and canapes, marking the beginning of the festivities. The newlyweds and I took advantage of the venue’s picturesque setting for some couple portraits during golden hour.

Evening festivities

The reception was a feast for the senses, with guests seated at long, banquet-style tables for a meal prepared on open bbqs and fire pits, showcasing Old Gore by Yard Space’s culinary excellence. The speeches struck the perfect balance between humour and sentiment, making for memorable moments.

The night continued with cake cutting, a delicious creation by Caoimhe’s mother, followed by a lively first dance. The dance floor was soon filled, with the energy only escalating from there. The evening wrapped up with a sparkler send-off, a fitting end to a day full of joy and celebration.
