Tucked away in the rolling countryside near Lockerbie, Springkell provided the most stunning backdrop for Lynne and Conor’s wedding—a day that beautifully wove together their Scottish and Irish heritage. From the moment we arrived, there was a palpable warmth and joy in the air, setting the tone for a celebration that was both timeless and full of life.
The morning unfolded in the elegant rooms of Springkell, where Lynne and her bridal party gathered for a relaxed start to the day. With soft light filtering through the grand windows and an atmosphere of quiet anticipation, we captured the final touches—her dress being fastened, the laughter shared between bridesmaids, and a moment of stillness before the ceremony began.
The ceremony itself was heartfelt and deeply personal, held in a space that felt both intimate and grand. Against a backdrop of lush florals, Lynne and Conor exchanged vows, surrounded by family and friends who had travelled from across Scotland and Ireland. As the newlyweds stepped out into the crisp September air, they were greeted with cheers and confetti – marking the start of a truly memorable celebration.
The reception was a perfect balance of elegance and revelry, with long tables adorned with flowers and candlelight, heartfelt speeches, and plenty of laughter. As the evening set in, the energy of the day built towards one of our favourite moments—the Ceilidh. Watching guests take to the dance floor, some seasoned pros, others joyfully stumbling through the steps, was a highlight of the night. These are the moments we love capturing the most—unfiltered, full of movement, and a true reflection of the joy of the day.
