Pre-wedding consultations are one of our favourite parts of the process—an opportunity to connect, get comfortable in front of the camera, and create something beautiful together. Charlie and Aish, who are set to marry at Pauntley Court later this year, met us for their engagement portraits in London, where we captured their dynamic in a way that felt effortless and true to them.
While we typically host these sessions in the Cotswolds, we occasionally offer select London dates, and this session was the perfect reminder of why we love photographing in the city. The quiet streets of the Square Mile on a Sunday morning became the perfect backdrop, the architecture adding a striking contrast to their warm, playful energy.
After a quick drink to settle in, we explored the City together, photographing on both digital and film. The balance of movement and stillness was key—unposed moments of laughter mixed with artful compositions that reflected their easygoing connection. The grand columns of the Royal Exchange, the texture of historic streets, and fleeting glimpses of the skyline framed their love story in a way that felt both intimate and cinematic.
