Set in the rolling countryside of Upton Noble near Frome, Emma and Conrad’s Somerset marquee wedding was a celebration that felt effortlessly personal. Hosted at Conrad’s parents’ home, the day was filled with thoughtful details, panoramic views, and a lively atmosphere that carried on well into the night.
The morning began in Frome, where Emma and her wedding party got ready in a charming Airbnb. The atmosphere was relaxed yet full of anticipation, with bridesmaids perfecting their Scottish dance moves ahead of the evening’s celebrations. Before heading to the church, we took a moment to capture some portraits outside a beautiful old schoolhouse, adding a quiet sense of nostalgia to the day.
The ceremony was intimate and full of personal touches, leading into a confetti-filled exit as the newlyweds stepped outside to be greeted by cheers. Before joining their guests, Emma and Conrad took a short detour for some portraits, embracing the calm of the Somerset countryside before the energy of the reception took over.
Returning to Conrad’s family home, guests gathered for the Somerset marquee wedding reception, set in the garden courtyard. Drinks flowed, heartfelt speeches brought laughter and emotion, and as the sun began to set, we stepped away for golden hour portraits. The warm evening light added a softness to the images, capturing the atmosphere just as it felt in the moment.
As night fell, the celebrations moved inside the marquee, where the dance floor came to life. After an unforgettable first dance, the party continued with Scottish reeling—a nod to tradition that had the entire marquee on their feet. It was the perfect way to end a day that was as joyful as it was beautifully considered.
