Outdoor wedding at Cotswold wedding venue, Cerney House Gardens

Ben and Susie’s wedding took place on possibly the hottest day of the year – and what a scorcher it was! Hosted at stunning Cotswold wedding venue, Cerney House Gardens just outside of Cirencester in the centre of the Cotswolds, this venue is best known for its incredible gardens. The ceremony was held in the centre of the gardens, surrounded by rose bushes and lavender; the most intimate and magical location for a wedding ceremony.

After the drinks reception the guests were lead down the hill to the front of the handsome Cerney House to where a marquee was set up, ready for dinner. This is often a great time to hang back to get some couple shots as everyone else is distracted, allowing a big entrance to dinner. Again the stunning gardens were the perfect backdrop for couple portraits, wandering between the avenues of flowers – it doesn’t get much better.

The wedding breakfast was a relaxed affair with the guests being fed the most incredible barbecue, followed by delicious cocktails from Elemental Mule. As the sun started setting, I had to grab Ben and Susie and run up the hill to the meadow attached to the venue for an incredible sunset portrait session with the house in the background. What a day! Thank you so much to Ben and Susie for letting me be a part of it.
