Set in the picturesque village of Frampton upon Severn, Kat and Harry’s Gloucestershire wedding was a celebration filled with personal touches, relaxed elegance, and a vibrant atmosphere. The Wool Barn, a venue rich in history dating back to the 1560s, provided the perfect backdrop for their day.
The morning started at Kat and Harry’s home in Dursley, where Harry and his groomsmen enjoyed a slow, easygoing start to the day. Meanwhile, Kat got ready at The Orangery, a beautiful light-filled space where prosecco flowed, and final touches were added to her Anna Kara dress. The anticipation built as the bridal party made their way to the canal-side church in a vintage VW bus, setting the stage for a heartfelt ceremony.
After exchanging vows, the newlyweds were greeted with cheers and a confetti-filled exit before heading back to Gloucestershire wedding venue, The Wool Barn. The gardens provided the perfect setting for a relaxed drinks reception, where guests enjoyed cocktails and canapés while we captured portraits and family moments against the lush surroundings.
As the celebrations moved inside, speeches struck the perfect balance between humour and sentiment, with wood-fired pizzas served alongside, creating an effortlessly sociable atmosphere. Later, as the sun began to set, we stole a quiet moment with Kat and Harry for golden hour portraits at The Orangery—the flowing movement of Kat’s dress against the backdrop of the house and gardens made for some of the most striking images of the day.
The evening continued with cake cutting (a creation by Harry’s mum) and a packed dance floor as the celebrations carried on late into the night. A day filled with warmth, energy, and genuine joy—this was a wedding that felt true to Kat and Harry from start to finish.
